The hot commodity at the gun shops today were 9mm handguns and 20ga shotguns.
Lots and lots of first time buyers filling out their very first 4473 and learning about the state's waiting period.
Ammo is, of course, getting scarce again.

Perfect storm of:
ReplyDeleteNatural Disaster
Stupid Dem Pres Candidates shouting gun control
Local politicians freaking out and banning instruments of self-defense
and...
Local Justice Systems (cops, prosecutors, judges etal) saying they won't enforce the laws in order keep people from being exposed at jail.
That last one? That's the moment a surge of new gun owners, already moooooving due to the other reasons, started stampeding.
Seriously. "We aren't going to arrest people due to the Flu." "Stop shooting each other due to the Flu (at the same time saying the first sentence.)"
I mean, what? The one thing you want, desire and absolutely need during a mass disaster or pandemic is THE FRIGGIN RULE OF LAW!
So now, we have the ultimate reason for the 2nd Amendment.
Natural disasters.
Weapon grabbing politicians.
A government that refuses to enforce the law.
Molon-friggin-Labe, bitches.
So now, because of stupid politicians and leaders openly denying they have any respect for or responsibility to enforce The LAW, the average Joe and Jane Schmuck, including formerly gun-grabbing leftist lunatics, will be saying the following:
"Touch my stuff. I shoot you."
"Touch my stuff and then try to run away. I shoot you."
"Threaten me and mine? I shoot you."
And when told, "Oh, he had disengaged and was no longer a threat," the answer will be... "No. Now he's no longer a threat, to anybody."
Strange how things are turning out... So... unexpectedly.
I self isolated on my motorcycle yesterday. Made it a point to run by some of the gun stores near me. All of them had lines like Disney World. Out the doors and into the parking lots.
ReplyDeleteMy guess is they are the people who were trying to tell everyone that they didn't a gun(s).
