As everyone knows, fancy rims are the heart of any hot rod, just before chrome stuff under the hood.
The Lovely Harvey and I agree on the following rims:
What say the hive?

Keep steel originals, you will thank me if you ever have to make a violent maneuver at full power
ReplyDeleteRemember the Pontiac Snowflake rim? Murder to wash.
ReplyDeleteThe more stuff pointing different directions, the more fun it is.
I prefer the 2nd pattern.
ReplyDeleteAs a former autocrosser lighter is better.
ReplyDeleteJust for Trivia. The factory steelies are 32 lb. The top rim is 24 lb. and the bottom 23.8.
DeleteI like the top ones. They both look flimsy to me, but I like the blacked-out style of the top ones.
ReplyDeleteWell,never liked chrome on white so the top one for me. However,I would look for one with stronger webbing. Seen a few aftermarket wheels with all hubs ripped out with encounters with curbs and railroad tracks. Only one set of factory wheels with hubs ripped and they were similar style as these. Just my 2 cents. Allan
ReplyDeleteI like the second one, but I'm not sure why. Perhaps because the spokes are greebled and set in pairs...
ReplyDeleteHey Angus;
ReplyDeleteI kinda prefer the top ones....
