CHUNK CHUNK CHUNK

I cannot say I wasn't expecting it.

I bought the parts almost a year ago.

The wheel bearings in Moxie were going bad last year.

I'd already done three of them...

RF decided to do more than give a warning whine today.

With a wheel shaking "chunk chunk chunk" as we limped her home.

Whelp.  Got some work to do now.

I hate how these things fight coming out of the knuckle.

    Since wheel related stuff often fails/wears out in pairs, why didn't you do both front wheels at the same time? Also do you have access to a hydraulic press? It can help with stubborn bearings

      I bought all four wheel-hub assemblies at the same time. LR in April 21, RR and LF in December 21.

      We were just too damn pupped out to do the RF at the time and since it wasn't really doing more than a minor noise I let it be.

      A press won't help with this job unless I want to take the entire knuckle off.

      Oof, GM engineering strikes again. My only wheel bearing work was om Volkswagen and it's stuff that's easily detached to press races
