That is what I like about the Glock family. The Compacts usually accepting their full size magazine counterparts. (G30 accepts G21 magazines, though not vice versa).

I expect that from S&W. If you look at the history of S&W and Colt since 1945, one made several smart moves offsetting one dumb move and became the largest gun maker in the US, the other made one smart move, several dumb moves and after multiple bankruptcies is now a a subsidiary of CZ.
