Pissing Off The Wrong People Too

As the election wore on and the Trump supported candidates did worse and worse...

I am starting to wonder if, while having fun watching him piss off the people I don't like, if he was also alienating some of the people I do.

The dude is very polarizing.

I still say that him getting the nomination in 2016 had more to do with a rejection of the party establishment than an endorsement of Trump.

I am starting to re-evaluate the Biden election somewhat.

It's making me wonder if people simply hated Trump enough to risk Mumbles rather than put up with four more years of him.

Hate IS motivating, after all.

  1. Either hate or just sheer exhaustion from watching Trump and his allies fighting with his enemies. With the media ratcheting every squabble to max.

  2. I don't think everyone's reasons were the same. I do think that the reasons you state were probably true for a lot of people. And when elections are decided by razor thin margins like they were in 2016 and again in 2020... It only takes a few people to be motivated by hate or some other thing to make the difference.

I was never a huge Trump fan. But I hated Hillary far more. And Biden is still worse than Trump by a long margin. But I'm probably not a typical voter, and certainly not on the same page as 1/2 the country which are fooled by ridiculous libtard thinking.

  3. I think you are correct. Hillary and The Donald have loyal fans but they are vastly outnumbered by people who hate their guts.

  5. Donald Trump is the best president in my lifetime. He did more in four years surrounded by rino’s than Reagan did in eight. And Reagan destroyed the state of California by signing the amnesty act in 1987. Your opinion is the opinion of the mainstream media and the rino’s like Paul Ryan, who married a mult-millionaire and is set for life, and scum suckers like Rick Santorum. Both of these traitors had opportunities to overthrow Obamacare, enforce the border, and all they did was take a paycheck. “I never met a man worth a damn in my life who didn’t have more enemies than friends.” Carl Icahn.

    1. Go buy a bumpstock and get back to me on how great Trump was.

The mainstream media didn't do that.

I loved what got done, but it was in concert with Cocaine Mitch, not on his own.

But it's been his bullshit since leaving that's closed minds and doors more than anything he did as president, and thinking that he's unalloyed good is a mistake.

      Notice the election numbers?

  6. People always miss Trump the person doesn't mean much, he is a symbol of the general dissatisfaction with the establishment. He was largely elected because is appeared to not be part of it, his failure to turn things around and clear out the swamp means you'll get more swamp like Biden, eventually descend into civil unrest/war, with the final act being a strongman of some sort or disintegration into smaller nations.
Maybe you'll be lucky and get a strongman who renews the nation, but looking at history you're more likely to get something far worse for the people.
That's what I see from the other side of the world, and having read a bit of history. Maybe I'm right, maybe not. Either way it'll be years playing out.
