No prison for Bo Bergdahl.
While a dishonorable discharge brings some serious baggage with it, it's a steamer trunk he's never going to have to carry because he's such a liberal hero.
He deserted, got good men killed, and will not be punished for it.
At least until someone publishes his address, I suspect.
This is just another nail in the coffin of our polite society.
The deal, where we the people delegate our right of revenge and vendetta to The State, is that The State will swiftly and firmly punish those who do wrong.
The constant failure of The State to do so will eventually cause the people to stop using it to seek justice. That fairly quickly leads to disposing of The State entirely, because The State will attempt to prevent the people from regaining their rightful power of revenge and vendetta they delegated.
Do you want to live like an animal? Because this is how you get to live like an animal.
