Drive Safe

When FuzzyGeff calls and says that he might delay his run from Iowa because of road conditions;

This is why we tell him no problem.

Because even if HE does everything right, the other idiots get a vote.

And there's times when everyone does the right thing and it does no good.

So better to be late, or cancel, than to end up all fucked up or worse.

    19 semi truck pileup on I94 right at my exit in Michigan yesterday. Smarter folks staying indoors typing to Floridians.

    Make sure that he knows that he is welcome anytime. Orthodox Christmas is Jan 7, so there is plenty of time. No one will filtch his stuff from under the tree. Holidays are warm and fun. Funerals and intensive care suck. I've done that study..

    Safe travel. Good tires. A careful pace. A well maintained route, all add to the festivities, whenever they finally occur. The welcome is forever.

    Blizzard day 2. horizontal snow and drifts. Managed to clear 1 car width to street. Driveway is 60 ft of 16" drifts, Made a supermarket run and back to 4 inches of new snow and drifts building. Wind should abate by Sunday PM and we are not going anywhere until BIL shows up with plow truck. That is my present from him and much appreciated too. Merry Christmas all.
