It's possible that I was grumpy from driving an hour to Bay Pines VA Hospital to get a three minute CAT scan to see if I have too much calcium built up in the arteries on my heart.
Oh, and an hour drive back too.
Too much walking at Bay Pines because they made the parking lot pretty rather than functional.
There used to be shuttle carts that prowled the grounds to give rides from the boonies to the buildings, but I didn't see any this trip.
I HATE facilities whose distant parking forces a long schlep to the building. They can build a large building to charge crazy expensive fees, but provide minimal parking for their patients to access them. For the people confined to walkers and/or have mobility issues, really sucks for them. In my case, vital paperwork is inevitably forgotten and you have to go back to car and retrieve it. So fun.
ReplyDeleteI hope you get great results from the scan.
