ReplyDeleteExcept, in my experience, minorities are self-repressive. Nobody treats Amerinds as bad as other Amerinds, same with InnerCityDiversityPeopleofColor. And I've witnessed some really nasty things done to Amer-Asians by Straight-up-Asians. Don't even get me started as to how Mandarin-speaking Chinese look down their noses at everyone, something idiots in business and government should have recognized since at least the 1920's.
Worst way Amerinds are nasty towards other Amerinds? Dividend checks. Those in power will find any and all ways to deny non-relatives and fringe members from getting their cut of Tribal money, up to and including the miscreant's whole family to all the way back when being written out of Tribal memory, at least recorded tribal memory.

Funny that. Would be funny as all get-out if somehow FedGov rammed through a proof-by-DNA clause, and then to see who in the tribes aren't actually members of whatever said tribe they supposedly belong to. Interesting to see a few 'chief's walked out the door.
