Worth A Read

The Militarization of the Police.

I've long felt that elimination of the Clinton era 1033 program and Civil Forfeiture would go a long way towards healing the rift between many citizens and their police.

As far as guns and other weapons go, "If I can't have, cop can't have."  They ARE civilians, same as me, after all.
