Speaking as one of the "some Americans" who fought there as volunteers and was there at the time I have only one real critique of this telling. South Africa did * not * betray Rhodesia! The SADF were there to the end and were prepared to wade in full bore. It was the Brits, the west in general, and a few Rhodesians who betrayed Rhodesia.
