Religious Freedom Laws

It would appear that your state passing a religious freedom law will prevent dancing monkeys.

Bruce Springsteen won't play North Carolina.

Bryan Adams won't play Mississippi.

Really guys, way to create conflict!

My desire to be supportive of the LGBT people is being seriously challenged by a desire to free of dancing monkeys.

  1. The confusing bit for me is how specific the dancing monkey repellent is. They don’t have a problem with Saudi Arabia, or any other country that has a death penalty for being gay, but letting bakers refuse to provide a wedding cake is unendurable. In other words, flinging somebody off a tall building to their death is somehow okay, as long as you remember to follow up with “and here’s your cake, faggot”.
