Took the Colt Challenger out of the safe to do some dry firing with some snap caps.
I couldn't get it to feed.
The channel in the driver's side stock was binding on the button that rides with the follower.
A few minutes with the chisel cured the problem, but it does illustrate the need to check fit under more than one condition.
A pro would have caught this instantly, I am decidedly an amateur.
