Except George Floyd slabbed himself on his own drugs. Tragic? Maybe. Unjustified? No, very justified, as George had swallowed his own stash and almost died about a year before this last incident.
Other than that, considering how many Dem senators and representatives have called for violence in the streets, it's not surprising that the Dems squashed this.
I'm wondering if Rep. Greg Steube (R-FL) introduced this in order to trap the stupid Dems? Seems plausible to me, selling them rope to hang themselves with.
