You Should Never Have Trusted Them Too Far In The First Place

Trust in the military is dropping?

This is my shocked face.

What was exceptional is the trust we placed in them in the first place.  It was downright shocking that they were mostly worthy of that trust.

We should always have been rationally mistrusting of any part of the government with any ability to apply force.

Why?

Because there are zero exceptions to the police and military, as organizations, obeying tyrannical orders.

Zero.

Remember what I said about that worthiness?

We're watching the military being used in a way that undermines that trust and watching them obey the order.
