Hey, blue states, you could have just opened up your voting rolls for inspection and proved that only eligible voters were voting.
Misrepresenting what's going on here seems to be the hallmark of the press.
I've long thought we make it too easy to get registered to vote and too easy to actually vote.
That sounds odd, doesn't it?
But what I mean by too easy is it encourages voting without considering what you're doing.
Voting is important. Your vote matters.
If we required you to apply in person to register and only allowed you to vote in person, you'd at least have to take a moment to plan that action.
It's your sovereign franchise and you put less effort into it than deciding what you're going to watch on NetFlix.
That making it too easy also makes for casual fraud to occur is secondary to me, but the fraud is what's going to give me my druthers and make voting harder for everyone and still below my threshold.
