Speaking of exonyms and ethnicity.
Did you know that Italians were once not considered to be White?
Italian immigrants in America faced discrimination at least as severe as anything Blacks endured or are enduring.
I hereby claim my eternal victim status!
Or not.
The Irish went through this discrimination thing too.
At least twice and sometimes from the previous wave of Irish-Americans.
But since my grand-parents were not considered "White" when they arrived in America, then I am a person of color now!
Ah, to be rid of that pesky White Privilege!
