Criminal who crossed state lines to commit a felony with a firearm illegal at the scene of the crime in a gun-free zone?
I notice that the news stories are saying he purchased the "SKS AK-47-type assault rifle" legally in Nevada are not calling the scumbag "Nevada Man".
Which makes me think he's a Californian.
That means that it wasn't legal for him to buy that rifle in Nevada.
Even if he was a legal resident of Nevada...
Crossing state lines to commit a crime is, in itself, a crime.
Breaking and entering is a crime.
Having the unregistered "SKS AK-47-type assault rifle" in California is a crime.
Having a "SKS AK-47-type assault rifle" with any of a list of forbidden features in California is a crime.
Having a "SKS AK-47-type assault rifle" in a gun free zone is a crime.
