I noticed that many of the i-beams are bolted together.
It occurred to me to wonder, "Is this so they can take the building apart?"
This seems doubtful.

Maybe it's easier to spot a bad bolt joint than a bad weld joint.

And bolts and their holes serve as a self-indexing system.
Or, maybe welders charge/make too much money and any mook can work a wrench?
