I've a list of similarly priced things I want, but don't NEED.
J-Pipe exhaust for The Beast.
A new desktop computer.
A Lipsey's Gen 1 Glock 17 to fill the nostalgia itch.
The new KelTec KSG in .410.
Not sure if I will be moving on any of these items soon, but the wants are present.
While I'm a fan of Keltec what pray tell is the interest in a 410 shotgun? 10 3 pellet buckshots? 10 410 slugs?

It just tickles my whimsy. I have no use whatsoever for it. Which puts it in good company with the Taurus Judge my father-in-law has.
DeleteThey're amusing.
I've long felt that it's OK to have guns which have no useful purpose once the needs are met.
Hey, I still have that .45 Colt/.410 American Derringer Model 4 for when I feel a hankering for .410 goodness... :-D
DeleteFuck you! My thumb still ain't right from that thing! :-D
DeleteHey, at least your experience wasn't as bad as that Deputy... I bet his friends still rib him for that one.
Deletethis is looking kind of sweet... https://www.guns.com/news/2023/01/17/canik-new-mc9-mete-9mm-pistol-shot-show-2023 ...i have a judge and it shoots 410...the edc/per defense 410 looks like some wicked rounds...panzer guy...
ReplyDeleteI have a couple of .410s but all are single shot breech loaders. Two are 'Farmers Friends', one is a combination with .22 Magnum on top and the last is a T/C Contender pistol barrel. A good companion for walking the woods, just to see what is going on.
ReplyDeleteMy paternal Grandparents lived on a small homestead. A.410 was kept behind the kitchen door for coyotes raiding the hen house, rabbits in the garden and preventing rats damaging the tractor. Small shot load reduced potential property damage.
