THIS, this is why we have the Electoral College... Without it, those of us in flyover country would have NO representation...
ReplyDeleteIt's interesting that the blue areas aren't exclusively the metro areas. Mostly, but not all. I think the non-metro areas largely must be places where people life on the government dole.
ReplyDeleteI can confirm some of those. The blue counties along the Texas-Mexico border (known as the RGV) have a very large population of mostly welfare recipients and retirees. Oh and illegal immigrants who supposedly can't vote... but the history of pro-Blue voting "irregularities" down there is well known.
