It feels super short compared to the wood...
It's not really much shorter than the wood or the East German pattern folder that is OE.
It is a LOT more comfortable than the OE stock, but that's damning it with faint praise, the bar is set to TWO thicknesses of paper low.
The wooden stock is, hands down, the winner for comfort here.
The Beryl stock, though, is very solid. It locks up firmly and I'm not getting the wobble the previous owner complained about.
That solidity comes at a price, it's 9.1 lb. loaded with the Beryl stock, 9 lb. with the OE stock and 8.8 lb. with the laminated wood.

What did you do about screws? Did you find some that fit or did you make something else work?
