The Deal Rammed Home

The $425 for a Glock 45 being an excellent deal was underscored today by finding a blue-label Glock 45 at one of the local pawn-shops marked at $525.

They'd accept $450 for it, bottom dollar.

Willard, gritting his teeth and fighting through the pain of holding it, even allowed that the grip is ineffably better than other Glocks he's handled before.

  1. One of our local pawn shops had a great deal on used Glocks. Initial price - $525 for a G30 (Gen 4 I think - definitely had the rail). Meh.

But if you can put down 10% on lay away now (6 months), they'll go down 10% on price. Put down 20%, take 20% off price. And put down 30%, take 30% off. 30% of $525 is $157.50. So $367.50 plus sales tax - say $400. To me, thats a good deal.
