As Often As I've Seen This

As often as I've seen trap shooters with their muzzles resting on their feet, I have to assume that they are willing to destroy their tootsies and are comfortable with the ground as a backstop.

On the other hand, if you want to avoid stigmata on one foot...  Read this!
