Some Assembly Required.
Godless metric tools required.
All put together.
It's alarmingly floppy until you start getting things tightened down.
When the bike gets here we've got to make some blocks to set it into the platform.

I had a rack like that for a while. Put a set of trailer lights on it as a little extra protection from stupid people. Worked pretty darned well when I could use it.
ReplyDelete"Godless metric tools required."
ReplyDeleteLMAO! Oh, what would we do without teh metric?
^^ Like Beans' idea of lights. Couple bright LEDS a good idea. Safety, caution and yep, protection for the stupid people.
Still laughing at the "godless metric tools..."
Oh, and McThag? Thanks for the pics! I love living vicariously through others... :)
ReplyDeleteOnce the paint burns off, makes a great fish grill. Just back the car up so it sits (grill, not car) over the charcoal and you are in business. ;-)
ReplyDeleteYou should get one of those metric Crescent wrenches. Very handy and you know they're well made. Plus, you don't need a tray full of sockets. :-D
ReplyDeleteI checked and all of my Crescent® Wrenches are inch on one side and Godless Metric on the other.
DeleteI think that means I can loosen in one system and tighten in the other.
