Isn't Shit Like This How We Got To Parkland?

 Hillsborough County to expand program that keeps juvenile offenders out of jail.

  1. That is EXACTLY how we got to Parkland.

  2. They should be treated pert-near just like adult criminals. Catch them, prosecute them to the level of their comprehension, and if that means prison, prison it is - yes, separated by age.

    Coddling 'juveniles' has not done anyone any good since forever.

    Juvenile delinquents were an issue in the Progressive era of 1912 through pretty much now.

  3. Let violent offenders go with barely a slap on the wrist if even that? What could possibly go wrong?

  5. Hey Angus;

    the .gov don't realize that there is a social compact, that we the citizen allows the "state" to handle the enforcement of laws for the "common good", but if violent criminals keep getting released with no real penalties, vigilantism will reappear and "from zero to hanging" is pretty fast. .gov needs to heed that rather than the 2 or 3 tier judicial system we have now.

  6. That was how Trayvon Martin was on the loose and able to attack George Zimmerman. They'd found plenty of evidence that he'd been involved in burglaries near his school, but rather than send him to juvie or adult jail, they just suspended him. Again. And his mother basically said "I can't handle you any more, go live with your father" and sent him off.
