The Lovely Harvey went to the orthopedic doc today.
Took an X-Ray
They want to see a CT scan before they decide if she needs surgery. It's borderline about if she will or not.

Before Obamacare, we would not be worried in the slightest about the costs because Harvey has a good job and insurance.
Now... The deductibles eats you alive.

Good luck and hoping for the best... Have to admit the health insurance was a very big thing in my career decisions staying with my previous employer far longer than I should have and coming to my current one. Higher Ed pays less than "industry", but stability and benefits are generally better... In any case, hoping things work out in the best possible way for her!
