Applied the Cerakote headlight kit to The Lovely Harvey's headlights today.
She sat outside and chatted with me while I did it and she got to see the transformation as it was happening.
She's very impressed!
I recommend this kit if you have yellowed headlights.
It's been lasting better than the next best thing we tried on Flossie. That Civic fought and rejected every attempt to keep the lights clear. The one that worked best came with a clear-coat and lasted almost a year.
Cerakote is claiming it will last as long as I own the car.
If we get two years, I will be happy and impressed.
I also changed the oil in The Beast!
Eight quarts takes exactly as long to drain as you think it does.
The previous owner's oil change place had some sort of gorilla put the filter on, it was stuck good. On top of that Fram filters have a textured paint portion on the bottom making it difficult to get the proper sized filter socket on.
Rubber hammer to the rescue!
