Ten RINOS have agreed in principle with the Democrats to pass gun control in the Senate.
I am not surprised that there are RINOS selling us out.
What shocks me is Rick "Lurch" Scott is missing from this list. The kinds of restrictions listed are exactly the kind of thing he signed as governor.
Perhaps he's learned?

I, too, was surprised even pleasantly surprised. I expected Scott and Rubio to jump on this. I know it's just the way things work, but it's very galling to write Rubio time after time after time about this, especially in opposition to red flag laws and shredding due process. And always the same response "I support the second amendment but..." and then some boilerplate about "I will always fight to make Florida safer". I know it would be worse with any D in there but can't we find someone better out of 17M people?

Call me synical, the 40 rino's can vote against and know it will pass.
ReplyDeleteA lot of establishment GOP politicians are more or less the "Us too---but not quite so much!" party. The Tea Parties upset them, and Trump terrified them. He threatened to break up their cozy little arrangement.
