Mostly Dead

Put the charger on The Biscayne.

Managed to ignore her and had dinner with Marv while we watched a couple movies on his gotta-be-compensating-for-something big TV.

Got home and she sluggishly turned over and fired up.

Drove around for about an hour on the dry-rotted tires, doing laps around the area.

Leaving the car sit for so long flat spotted the tires pretty bad too, but that cleared up after a couple miles.

It acted like a couple of valves weren't closing all the way until it got warm, but that cleared up too.

Steering is still sloppy, but that's to be expected with the idler out.  Last generation B-Bodies eat idler arms and center links.

  1. Sounds like it's good enough to get you to the auto parts store. Barely.
