Dear Hollywood...

The NASA T-38A is coming in for a landing...

They show the instrument panel as the astronaut candidate flips the gear lever.

She's coming in for a landing...

Altimeter reads 74,600 ft at 29.92 in-Hg.

Climb is pegged.

Airspeed is 225 KIAS.

Both engines are showing temperatures pegged to the bottom.

The one RPM gauge I can see shows zero.

Slow clap, Hollywood.

  1. What movie/tv show did Hollyweird just screw up, again?

The wife and I love spotting continuity mess-ups and other issues. And we're death on costuming mistakes.

But spotting issues with a control panel? You are... the Master.

    1. "For All Mankind" episode 3.

      Bonus round, it's not a T-38A panel.

  2. Those gauge readings just don't even make sense.
