Again?

All cop shows must address police brutality!

The Lovely Harvey loves police procedurals.  It's her second favorite genre after horror.

I hate to break it to Mr Braugher but...

There's been an episode in EVERY cop show since... at least CHiPs that's included something about police brutality.

And racism.

And domestic violence.

And drug use.

And sexism.

And homophobia.

The topics have been covered more thoroughly than, "a black hatted stranger comes to town," was in westerns.

  1. I'm rewatching "Adam-12" and in the first 12 episodes...

    Racism.

    Drug use.

    Police brutality.

    Mob violence.

    Unwarranted hatred of police.

    Domestic Violence.

    Sexism.

This from a show that aired starting in 1968.

Dragnet also touched on all of the issues, and it came before Adam-12.

Wife and I are literally watching shows that show the same crap then as the crap going on now. Mobs, drug use, counter-culture, unwashed people, fucked-up religions, catch-and-release policies in big cities and the whole smear. Even people going into meat-markets and stuffing pants full of.. meat.

The more the world changes, the more it stays the same.

      You funny man.

      Bahahahahahaha.

And, yes, that was really funny. Your twisted sense of humor matches well with mine.
