Goofy Things

With the Mac, the time is in the upper right, regardless of where the app-bar is.

With Windows the time is relative to where you've got that bar.  Put the bar on top, the clock will be upper right.

Ubuntu puts it dead center at the top.

I keep looking top right for the clock...  It's not there.  Silly.

    You could try a different desktop in Ubuntu. I always use Xubuntu which uses XFCE in place of the standard environment. You should be able to install it on a running Ubuntu and switch at login

      I'm OK with what I have. Learning the little differences is what keeps me happy.
