It's entirely possible that the Taliban just settled the entire AK vs AR debate.

They have the choice between them and appear to have universally changed over to the AR platform.


  1. Yeah, I noticed that, too. When you lose 3rd world goat humpers...

  2. They may not be able to properly feed and maintain ARs over the long haul. I can certainly understand why they would prefer new ARs to the often 30+ year old AKs they have, many of which were made by makeshift blacksmiths in the Pakistan border region or captured from the Soviets back in the 1980s. And I also have no doubt that they are enjoying rubbing in that they captured so much nice gear from the US.

    Now that they have once again conquered the Infidels, they can resume fighting among themselves.

    1. +1. They're currently enjoying their looted guns, but I bet they stowed their old AK's in the back of the closet or under their beds just in case.
