Wait That's Not Right Is It

The people who last owned slaves in America were severely punished...

Wait.  That's not right.

The slave owners in the states that composed the Confederate States of America were punished, primarily financially, by Reconstruction.

Slavers in free-states fared much better.

But...

They still lost their slaves when slavery became illegal.

All of them are dead now.

All of the slaves are dead now.

Yet people whom were never slaves think it's just to punish people whom never owned any slaves their entire lives.

    Hey Angus;

    yep, that is the donk playbook....Personally I think it is a crappy idea, nothing like setting race relations back 100 years if raparations goes through...the resentment will be unreal because besides getting all this money, they still will have all these "set asides" and other programs due to federal law. it will drive home the "favored" status of one group vs another and indoctrination will only go so far before the blinders come off and the anger becomes real when the formerly blind can now see and they realize that they were lied to and they and their kids were screwed over.. Talk about pissed off.
