In Three Months

Governor DeSantis has signed the permitless carry bill!

It takes effect on 01JUL23.

It will not change a thing for me because I'm keeping my permit to dodge the waiting periods and to keep my Utah non-resident permit valid.

Not that I ever leave Florida for a place where having that Utah permit matters...

It's the principle of the thing!

    And now, because our feckless RINOs won't pass full Constitutional Carry, I now have to look into a holster, belt, suspenders, some sort of fat-man-moo-moo shirt, all in time for the summer heat of doom.

    Thanks, feckless RINOs, but at least by screaming for full Constitutional Carry we managed to finally get permitless concealed.

    Not looking forward to 2 layers. Guess I'll check out those 'fishing' shirts at Sams.

      Just got back from an appointment with a 'conservative' doctor and he was happy that the Governor signed the bill and is calling it Constitutional Carry. I, of course, had to open my trap and blather on about full unlicensed and unregistered and unpermitted carry, because THAT'S Constitutional Carry. He actually agreed with me. And this is in leftist poophole Gainesville, FL!
