Found The Problem

If you're having trouble with staying logged into Google so you can comment; it's because most browsers block third party cookies by default.

You need to whitelist Blogger and Blogspot to get it to remember your login.

Exactly how to do that depends on your browser.

  1. This might be Firefox specific, but while I don't have it set to delete cookies, they must expire somehow. I'll be at MY stinkin' blog and instead of the "New Post / Design / Sign Out" header it will have the log in message in the upper right corner. If I click on Log In, it behaves like I already am. Same with comments; I'll go back to a blog I've commented to before and the option to use this account isn't there. Heck, I'll go back to my blog to answer a comment and it doesn't recognize me.

Sometimes, closing the tab and opening that blog again fixes it. Sometime it doesn't. It's a PITA.

You are a guest here when you comment. This is my soapbox, not yours. Be polite. Inappropriate comments will be deleted without mention. Amnesty period is expired.

Do not go off on a tangent, stay with the topic of the post. If I can't tell what your point is in the first couple of sentences I'm flushing it.

If you're trying to comment anonymously: You can't. Log into your Google account.

If you can't comprehend this, don't comment; because I'm going to moderate and mock you for wasting your time.
