The Savage 93F (Wal Mart Edition) has iron sights installed, which you can see in the pictures.
But they're not back-up iron sights in the traditional sense because the scope bases block them.
If your scope failed and you needed to get the gun back in action you'd need to remove the bases before you could use the irons.
Better have your screwdriver!
My kit includes a screwdriver. Even a Swiss Army Knife would suffice. I prefer the Super Tinker for day to day pocket ballast.
