Don't Panic

Updating things for today's numbers:

There are 95,835 people in Florida with Wu Ping Cough.

That gives an infection fatality rate of a mere 0.177%

Using this as the actual number of infections and assuming it's mirroring yesterday's 14% daily increase...

It will be 43ish days to infect everyone in Florida.

    For the "it's NOT the flu" crowd, the usual number cited for the flu is 0.1%. So, yeah, it's not the flu and the "relative risk" papers would say there's a 77% higher risk than the regular flu, but it's still a pretty remote chance of death.
