It occurred to me that the BEBoG carbine is the first AR in a long time I've assembled that wasn't a clone of an issue gun.
It's also the first time I've made a non-clone in 5.56.
The other two I made early on and those were in 6.8, and one of those is now a clone of an M16A4!.
