Another vote against getting a genuine ACOG is the lack of an adjustable diopter.
Trijicon has stated that they make them for 18 year old enlisted eyes a couple of times.
My 18 year old enlisted eyes are now 34 years older than that.
$1,000 and the reticle will be blurry or $350 for something that works as well and can be adjusted to deal with my age.
