One of the few parts of the FBI which still has a good reputation is the crime lab.
Edit in the indent.
Boy, did I get the above wrong!
But, knowing a thing or two about the Single Action Army and its modern variations and their ways to avoid accidental discharges, the FBI crime lab is correct.
They have determined that the gun Alec Baldwin was holding at the time Halnya Hutchins was killed could not have gone off without him pulling the trigger.
Bringing us back to the idea that the 4-rules are a damn good idea and Hollywood should stop breaking them.
I'd like to add a Rule 5: Don't be downrange of anyone who's violating any of the first four.
Ah, you missed all the FBI Crime Lab scandals where they made stuff up, let organic evidence deteriorate, got evidence mixed up and had 'qualified' people working for years who weren't, in fact, qualified at all, to the point of faking degrees and classes and such that nobody ever checked up.
ReplyDeleteNone of the FBI anymore has a good reputation. FDLE has a better record. Hell, most Florida cities have better quality crime labs.
I had missed all that. Burn it all to the ground then. Damn. The FBI building was so ugly too, shame to lose it.
DeleteAlso, I need to get a resume in. If being wildly unqualified isn't a barrier to entry, why shouldn't I?
Deleteyeah and these same "expert" witnesses testify to junk science that was debunked thirty years ago, yet judges allow it because its '"the fbi".
ReplyDeleteNow let's see who fries for this. I'd still like to know how live ammunition got on to that set in the first place. And why the armorer didn't check that gun VERY carefully before handing it to the dancing monkey.
ReplyDelete@technomad...didn't they say during breaks and/or before or after filming they would target shoot?...i thought i read that somewhere...if so, that's how the live ammo got there...panzer guy....
