I'll bring the beer.
I'd read about the true story part before.
Kinda neat.
Wanna bet that they toss in all the negative stereotypes of the Vietnam war and overlay them on the story in a way that never happened?

During WWII in the Pacific Theater, it was not uncommon for pilots to travel from one island to another to pick up beer. Place the beer in either a cargo pod (modified drop tank) or in the ammo bins on wing-mounted guns and one could 'refrigerate' the beer so that it was cold by arrival time by flying at heights. Too high and the beer would freeze, too low and it would stay warm.
ReplyDeleteApple TV, You Tube? No, no bet. Next you'll be asking me to "pick a card, any card".
