I am thinking that Hamas might have miscalculated a bit.
For years they've had to carefully not antagonize Israel to the point where Israel would say, "you know, fuck this shit."
Israel has had to worry about what the rest of the world would do and had to carefully balance their responses to belligerence against these concerns.
But I think we might be past the "fuck this shit" horizon this time.
Fuck this shit includes replying to the rest of the world with a, "You know, we don't really fucking care what you fucking think."
I remember, always, "May you live in interesting times," is a curse.
I suspect part of the situation is the Big Brother Uncle Sam isn't supportive of the current Government in Israel and quite vocal about it. That and the massive loss of our munitions to that little "controllable war" against Russia in Ukraine (Out of ammo dude stuff) gave Hamas and Co extra courage.
ReplyDeleteThere's a lot of nuclear toys out there in the hotspot Middle East. Our disposing of Pakistan's government recently gives me some concern about Paki's nukes being in play as the chaos of color revolutions makes control a real question.
I also suspect given the alarming numbers over the past year of military age male "Undocumented Immigrants" coming in from the Middle East that aside from Pearl Harbor the first time since the Civil War that real war might be inside America. We are a soft target.

The current administration almost appears to be intentially setting up things for an invasion by terrorists. I've been saying for a while that the leftists are looking for an excuse to declare martial law, throw out he Constitution and impose their new "Democratic" government modeled after the old USSR and the CCP. They just need a big enough excuse to make the sheeple accept it enough until it is too late. The "pandemic" was close, but didn't quite get them over the top. Next try they will push harder.

People I know with relatives in Israel verify that this is for real. The CIA can't be trusted anyway. They, the NSA, FBI, etc., have all been proven liars many times over the years. And don't even get me started about BATFE or the USSS.

I had a teacher in junior high that had been a combat photographer, and was one of those assigned to photo the camps because, as Eisenhower said, people would deny it happened. Very bad photos. Horrid. But true.

I thier Hamas might have been 'okay' with the attack if they had stuck to pure military targets, you know, armed people, cops, actual military. But capturing a whole rave and then massacring the ravers, photos of whole families dragged out of their houses and shot, well, that, as you said, maybe a tad overboard.
ReplyDeletePersonally, I think Israel ought to push the bastids and their supporters completely out of the Gaza and everywhere else, destroy all of the Palestinian's possessions and make new land available for Israeli settlers.
Every time before, Israel has backed off. Made concessions like giving back land. Blown up Israeli houses and settlements to appease the unappeasable. And then taken it in the shorts when the Palestinians and others attack anyways.
The new era of cellphone video that's not been scrubbed by Al Jazeera and the main stream media to make the Palestinians look like the good guys is really showing exactly how bad the Palis are.
Whacking that German chick? Not good, not good at all.
I think it is time for Israel to rid their country of all the Muslims. Carpet bomb Gaza and push all the rubble into the sea. Revenge sevenfold.

You are likely correct in your assessment, however, this time Hezbollah, Hamas, and even Taliban are likely going to go full berserk seeing as they are funded and/or encouraged by Iran. Add to that the perceived weakness of the U.S. government and military at this precise moment and we have a real conflagration starting.
ReplyDeleteThe $64,000.00 question is whether this becomes a whack a mole to get rid of all the pali hotheads and any others who participate and no more, or if Israel decides it is time to end the source of the problem and funding by same.
