She Just Won't Relax

The other cats are still figuring out the pecking order with the new addition, so we're keeping her sequestered in a carrier and only letting her out with close supervision.

  1. The cats will figure it out. they always do. We used to keep a new kitten in a separate room for a day or so before letting them out with the others. They'll be some hissing and bapping of paws, but that's normal. There's a huge difference between establishing pecking orders and full-on kitty mortal combat. -JKing

  2. Our cats do similar. Yesterday, my wife was sleeping on the living room sofa. One of them was dozing in her lap, a paw put on top of wife's hand as it slept too. So cute.
