Exhaust Stud Removed!





My friend, CorvetteCaddillacMini-Van JT had a set of these sockets which are for getting at rounded off bolts.

Works on studs too!

  1. Nice save! Hopefully you're replacing them with Grade 8 studs/nuts.

    1. Even the stock type studs will usually be fine with just a couple drops of Permatex Copper anti-seize on the threads. If you want to go even better use stainless steel studs & nuts with Nickel anti-seize, but that's probably overkill.

    2. You'd never believe it, but those studs ARE grade 8!

      I've got some of that anti-seize already. Works on spark plugs too.
