I know exactly where you're coming from. They also list a Billy Dixon Sharps rifle, and that's been much on my mind recently. I *could* almost pull that off out of stimulus money and savings...
ReplyDeleteBut I have other things on my mind at the moment, and I'm not clear on how accurate their reproduction is. (Or, for that matter, what source I could consult to find out: Billy Dixon's autobiography is available on Project Gutenberg, but I don't think he spends much time on the details of his firearms.)
