If you're going to be making an M16A4 clone, you're going to need an AN/PEQ-2 or AN/PEQ-15.
For a mere $30, shipped from China, you can get an airsoft battery box that looks the part, right down to markings.
That's a savings of over $1,700!
Since the -2 is all IR all the time, who's gonna know it's not?
The -15 clone even has a white light.
Since this is about looks and not about function, I don't need me no real-deal box for it.
I do, however, take donations.
If you've got a real-deal AN/PEQ-2 I will gladly accept it. Amusingly, it doesn't even have to work... I don't have any night vision gear.
