As much as the left approves of terrorism to advance their side these days, I wonder if he'd have been charged or convicted in today's political climate.

    In today's climate, he'd have been, since he was a good socialist (and an even better one now) he'd have the same fate as the Chicago Seven or the Alinsky's, in other words, lots of academic positions, money, fun, all the ability to affect new minds and infect new minds with his brand of socialism.
