Renewed

For just under $60 I am licensed to conceal carry weapons in the state of Florida!

In just over a month, I will not need the license to carry.

It comes with other benefits, like skipping the waiting period when I buy a gun.

Also, it keeps my Utah non-resident permit active and lets me carry in such tourist destinations such as Milwaukee and Seattle.

  1. Millwaukee is a tourist destination? Who'd have known. I was there a few years ago and didn't exactly find it exciting. I remember visiting back in the 1980s and it reeked of stale beer. However these days there are virtually no major breweries operating there. Pabst (and the others they bought out like Heileman's, Schlitz, etc) and many of the others shut down years ago. If you buy a PBR or any other Pabst product in most of the country these days it is made in Ft. Worth Texas by Miller/Coors under contract. There were some small breweries then but not like you'd expect given the city's heritage. However, if it is anything at all like around here they probably have dozens of local places now. I found out when I went to a store that carries a big selection yesterday that there are about 10 new ones in Austin that I need to check out. - swj

  2. the benefits are better with, especially if boarding/and or other states that don't have open carry but honor your states concealed license...plus, carrying concealed hopefully won't make you a target for someone out to do harm...after the allen mall shooting, i've rethinking how i want to carry...normally in a sling bag but that guy pulled up, got out and started shooting...from now on it's on my body...with one mag on my body and extras in the bag...panzer guy

  3. Hey Angus;

    Panzer guy is correct, Georgia is the same way as Florida, I don't have to have a "CCW" permit, but the benefits are there, bypass the hassles when buying another bullet launcher, and when I travel to another state, I make sure that they have reciprocity with Georgia and Florida is one of those states that does.
